BEFORE YOUR APPOINTEMNT

We recommend thinking about buying your wedding dress once you have booked your venue as this, and the time of year you marry, can influence your choice of gown. Most of our wedding dresses take around 5/6 months to arrive in store, plus you will need time for alterations, so we recommend making an appointment between 7 - 18 months prior to your wedding date, once you have booked your venue and set a budget for the dress, to allow plenty of time.  We do have options available for last minute brides however, so don't panic!

Doing your research! 

The internet and bridal magazines are great for ideas, feel free to collect pictures of dress styles you like and bring them along as this gives us a good starting point. Think about where you plan to marry - do you require a very formal gown with a cathedral train?  Do you want to get married abroad and therefore require a wedding dress that's easy to transport?

Don't get too fixed an idea at this stage, however, as its our job to assist you to try on different styles - many brides leave with something totally different to what they envisaged!
